Move Your Lymph: Self-Massage for Detox & Immune Support

This simple, science-backed self-care technique encourages lymphatic flow—helping your body detox naturally, reduce inflammation, and boost immune response. Based on practices shared with Brian during his recovery.

Start at the Neck:
Lightly stroke from behind your ears down the sides of your neck toward the collarbone. Repeat 5–10 times.

  • Collarbone Sweep:
Gently press and release just above your collarbones, near where they meet in the center. Repeat 5–10 times.

  • Chest Circle + Drain:
Cross your arms and place your hands on your opposite armpits. Sweep gently toward the center of the chest, then down the sternum and into the armpits.

  • Abdomen Drainage:
Place hands just below ribs. Sweep down and out toward your hips using light, rhythmic motions.

  • Bonus Movement – Arm Flush:
Gently sweep from shoulder to elbow, then elbow to wrist, always in the direction of the heart.

Pro Tips:

  • Always use light pressure (lymph vessels are right under the skin).

  • Drink water afterward to support detox.

  • Do it daily or after travel, illness, or stress.
